ご近所で友禅染め体験 - YUZEN dyeing workshop by professional YUZEN artist

七夕の日は、友禅染め体験のワークショップへ。
ご近所の大塚きもの・テキスタイル専門学校で、
プロの友禅染め作家の先生から教わることができる貴重な機会。
久しぶりにアートに熱中したな～

英語が素晴らしく美しいオーガナイザーの女性と
そのお友達の素敵な先生のお陰でとても充実した時間になりました。ありがとうございました！

先生方が用意して下さった下絵を染める日本古来の伝統的な手法と染料で染めるもの（朝顔）と、自分のデザインを染める簡単な手法のタイプ（青い鳥）の2種類のコースターを作成。
小筆は昔から苦手だったので、思った通りにはなかなかできなかったけど、まあ、味のある仕上がりになったと思います。

ランチを取る時間もないほど、濃密な時間で
夕方に終わった時には心地よい疲労感と達成感が。
帰りはゲリラ豪雨と雷に遭遇してしまったけど
家にちょうど着く頃、雨が上がって、空には大きな虹！

朝に作ったお弁当も傷んでなくて、美味しく食べられたので
本当、結果、全て良し、という充実した1日でした。

I went to a workshop of YUZEN dyeing by professional YUZEN artists @ Kimono & Textile Professional school near my place on July 7.

Thanks to an organizer & teachers, we had a very good time.
It's a really fantastic occasion and absorbed myself into making 2 coasters; 1 was traditional design especially prepared for us using authentic traditional methods and the other one designed by ourselves using more simple and convenient ink and methods. I like both of my works although I could not draw lines at all as I expected with a small brush.

It was a intensive workshop and we had no time to each lunch but we all really enjoyed our experience of the traditional Japanese art.  

I met a Guerrilla rainstorm with thunders on my way back to my place but saw a rainbow after the rain when I arrived my apartment.
Well, I was entirely happy to look at my art works eating the lunch box I made in the morning in my cozy room, after soaking wet.
