残り4日で展示終了となれば、
若冲ファンの私としては是が非でも行かねばなりません。

I went to Jakuchu – the 300 th Anniversary of Birth Exhibition on May 23 @ Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, taking 1 day OFF consequently.
I arrived around 8:15 and could enter the museum around 10:45 - I think I’ll never stand in a queue for such a long time again. I didn't realize now everybody loves Jakuchu.
Actually, I had tried once before that on Friday evening, but so many people were standing in a looong line – We couldn’t believe that but they said the estimated time to enter the exhibition room would be “270” minutes later at the end of the line. That’s why we gave up and I tried to challenge again on Monday, a day before the exhibition closing date.
It’s also extraordinarily crowded inside of the museum, but I am so happy I could see his masterpieces, especially “Sogyozu – Fish in a Lotus Pond” and “Kaikozu - Shells” from a series of 30 paintings of “Animals and Plants in Colors”, certainly what I have wanted to see the whole time.
On that night, I dreamed and slept so happily in the world of Jakucyu paintings.

こんなに何かのために並ぶことは今後ないと思います。
展示室の中の混雑ぶりもかなり異常でしたけど、
念願の「藻魚図」や「貝甲図」にも対面することができて、

2006年のプライスコレクション「若冲と江戸絵画」展
（初めて伊藤若冲に出会った記念すべき展覧会)が最高でした！
