素材が全面に出てくるイタリアンでした。
私は好きだなー

#1 - Florentine style Italian
We enjoyed Italian dinner @ trattoria La VITA in Araki-cho for the team get together by company's friendship support program.
As introduced on this web site, we could enjoy fabulous dishes without overly cooked.
The minimum seasonings for high quality ingredients, not like typical Italian taste as we could easily imagine the combination of olive oil & garlic.

あんなにコシのある手打ちパスタ、初めて！

アーモンドがたっぷりはいったソースです。
I was also fascinated by this homemade pasta with strong springiness, 
served with a almond sauce.

同僚の送別会＠新宿3丁目のイル バーカロ
こちらは、定番のイタリアンテイスト満載メニューたくさんで

美味し、楽しのお店。
ヴェネチアスタイルだそうです。
立ち飲みスペース奥にも実は広いスペースがあって、

たくさんのご陽気な人々でとっても賑わっています。

#2 - Venetian style Italian
We threw a farewell party for our colleague @ IL Bacaro, Shinjuku 3-chome.
They have a big space in the back of standing bar at the entrance and plenty of familiar & authentic Italian menu they can serve.  A lot of people are drinking and enjoying their dishes happily.

神楽坂に住んでいた時に2回程お邪魔した

ステファノもおススメです！

一口に、イタリアンといっても和食にも地方色等があるように、
いろいろあるわけですね。

そう、日本に居れば、
クオリティの高い世界中の料理を食べることができる幸せが。
しかも、まずいって思うお店を探すほうが大変ですよね。
つくづく食に恵まれた国だと思います。

Talking about Venetian style, I enjoyed dinner @ Ristorante STEFANO twice when I lived in Kagurazaka - I think it's worth going.

Italian dishes also have a wide variety like various Japanese cuisines.
If you are living in Japan, you surely must be happy with enjoying top quality dishes all over the world.
I can say it's difficult to find restaurants or taverns serving bad food, especially in Tokyo.

春鎌倉 - Kamakura in spring

４月11日は休暇を取って友人と鎌倉へ

そして、私にとっての初江の島上陸記念日。
江の島では山桜が満開で、
青空と水平線、桜一緒の風景を見ることができるなんて！
なんて贅沢。
舞い散る桜の花びらを追うネコ
神社やお寺で歴史を感じ
念願の生シラス丼
波打ち際のしぶきと潮の香り
雲の間から差し込む光の階段
水平線に沈んでいく夕日に
今年の目標をお互い語り合い

こうやって、また次の日から頑張れちゃうわけですね。

I took 1 day off on April 11th and made an excursion to Kamakura with my friend.

And it's also the first day for me to visit Enoshima island where we could still enjoy watching cherry blossoms in full bloom.
In Enoshima,
Cherry blossoms under the blue sky & against the horizon,
A cat chasing after a fluttering cherry petal,
Feeling something deep from historical shrines & temples,
Shirasu-don (rice bowl dishes with young anchovies) we longed for,

The sea spray & salt smell by the shore,
Arrows of sunshine shot through the clouds or staircases to the heaven,
And we talked about our goals for this year each other while watching the sunset on the horizon.

Happily energized, we could get started again from the next day.

最後の折り紙会 - The last Origami session

マイスターが会社を卒業後
長らく開催していなかった折り紙会を4/27に開催。
楽しみにしているひとも多かったのですね。
ただ、友人とふたりでお題を決めるのにいろいろ試し折りをしていたところ、気づいてしまった。
あれ？私達って折り紙、どちらかというと苦手。。。？？
みんなとわいわい折るのは楽しい半面、
きちっと折り図通り折るのは、、、決して得意ではなかったという。
そんな私達が見つけたお題が、この「ハスの花」
まあ、ペーパークラフトに近いけど、簡単で見栄えも良く
みんなでとても盛りあがって楽しく折れたので、何よりでした。
折り紙を極めるのも、ひとつの道。
でも、こういうのこそ、そもそもこの会の趣旨に
ふさわしいものだったのだと発見がありました。

The last Origami session was held on April 27th and we made a lot of colorful water lilies.
It's so simple & easy to make but very beautiful - we had a very good time enjoying all together.
We understood the core members want to make Origami like this.

This is a prototype.

Although I dared to use unpopular Origami papers, 

it looks artistic like a Yayoi Kusama's artwork.

シャトルシェフ の伝道師 - Becoming a big fan of Shuttle Chef

I and my friend visited a new apartment of our colleague who is a very attractive and also ace at her job - we both like her very much.
She enthusiastically tells us good points about a "Shuttle Chef", Thermos Vacuum Insulation Cooker.
On that day in the middle of March, we were so excited that we had a chance to enjoy dishes cooked by herself for the first time.
Her place is so amazing & comfortable, with sophisticated & well selected furniture and goods.
And the homemade meal she served for us!!
Yes, she took time and cooked for us using the Shuttle Chef and they were really really nice.
Thanks to her, we really enjoyed the time while chatting for a long time, looking at the beautiful landscape to change outside of the windows, and enjoying tasty dishes.
もう3月半ばのこととなりますが、
女性としてだけでなく人間的にとても魅力的で
仕事もデキちゃう同僚の方の新居へお邪魔させていただきました。
会社でのランチタイム、シャトルシェフの魅力を熱く語る彼女の手料理を初めていただくことに。
全て丁寧に選ばれ、洗練された居心地の良いお部屋でいただくお料理、
それは、もう幸せな時間。
遠くまで見渡せる、移りゆく光と影が美しい窓の外を眺めつつ、
シャトルシェフでじっくり作ってある手料理も堪能、
おしゃべりがつきない時間でした。
美味しいお料理、本当にご馳走様でした！

And so I got the one for me!
I started to use the Shuttle Chef from boiling a big bamboo shoot, the taste of spring in Japan.
Now I love this simple & echo-conscience cooking style, using it to cook tasty meal almost every day.
ということで、その魅力のとりこになった私もシャトルシェフを購入。
エコで簡単に美味しくできるのでいろいろな料理に活用してます。
まずは筍の下ごしらえで大活躍でした♪
とても大きなたけのこ1本茹でて、タケノコご飯やら、炒め物やらピクルス、と春の味覚を満喫できました。

明珠在掌 - You have all in your hands by nature

いろいろ心が重くなることが起きる世の中。

忙しかったのもありますが
呑気なブログを書くのもどうかな、と思って遠ざかりがち。
でも、こんな時だからこそ、

日々のちょっとした喜びや愛すべきことを
時折は書いていった方が良いのかな、とも。

普段、アレがないコレが足りないと嘆くのではなくて、

既に持っているものに感謝しつつ
安全なところで毎朝目覚める喜びをかみしめたいと思います。

明珠(宝珠)在掌 - めいじゅ(ほうじゅ)たなごころにあり

感謝している知人から教わった禅の言葉です。

大切なものは全て自分の掌の中に既にある、という事です。

Many depressing things or disasters are often happening in this world.
That’s the biggest reason why I have been away from my blog for a while.
But now I think I should keep writing about something tiny but adorable & peaceful things around me now and then.

Instead of grieving over what I lost or don’t have enough, I want to appreciate what I already have, like when I wake up every morning in a safe & comfortable room.

You have a treasure (Here I say "treasures") in your hands by nature.

Someone I rely on told me about this before, originally from "Zen" words.

書道のワークショップで書きました。

中学生以来初の書道、まだまだ迷いだらけの「愛」に。

I wrote "LOVE" in a "Shodo; Japanese calligraphy" workshop.

Shodo for the first time since I was a junior high school student.

It looks like I am at still loss for an answer against LOVE.

青空にしだれ桜。

スマホ見てるよりこっちを眺めてたい。

Sakura under the blue sky.

I'd rather watch that sakura than a screen of the smartphone.
