KITTEが気にいって - Enjoyed KITTE

いつもは素通りしていたKITTE。
旧東京中央郵便局の局舎をリノベしたということは知っていたけど、また似たような商業施設ができたのかと思っていました。
先日ちょっと時間が空いたので足を踏み入れたら
これが、結構私の好みのツボにはまってました。 
1Fのタテヨコに広い空間も良いカンジ。昔はここに大きな郵便局窓口があったのだな～。
昔の雰囲気も残しながら、新しいものと融合させたモダンさがなかなか素敵なのだ。
ショップのセレクトもなかなかで、ついお買いものしてしまった。

I used to pass by KITTE as I had no interest in big commercial facilities in Tokyo anymore.
I only knew the building as it was renovated from the old central post office in Tokyo.
A few weeks ago, I stepped into it for the first time to kill time and found I like it at once. 
The broad open space on the ground floor is impressive.
I know there was the huge long counter at the post office.
I’ m glad to see it as “modern” with good fusion of something old and new and it’s really nice.
I did some shopping at one of nicely selected shops.

一番楽しんだのは、ここ。KITTEの2F・3Fにあるミュージアム。
東京大学と日本郵便が連携した新しい文化施設なるもの「インターメディアテク」 
クールでとても面白いの！！そして、ななんと、入場無料です。

I enjoyed it the most at a museum on the 2nd & 3rd floors.
It’s called “Intermediatheque”, the very new type cultural facility by association between Tokyo University & Japan Post. 
It is so cool & inspiring and the admission fee is free!
