輝き続けるポップアート - ☆American POP ART☆

２週間前に久々の国立新美術館。開催中の“アメリカン・ポップ・アート展”へ。
そんなに混んでなくて、鑑賞しやすくって良かった。
I went to the exhibition of “American Pop Art” @ the National Art Center Tokyo in Roppongi 2 weeks ago.
It’s not so crowded and good time for looking at art at an easy pace. 

日本人が好きなリキテンシュタインとウォーホール作品が充実していて見応え、ありです。
パワーズ夫妻（奥さんは日本人のキミコさん）の個人コレクションなわけですが
予想以上のすごいボリューム！
ちなみに、キミコさんはいくつかのウォーホール作品のモデルで登場。
We could enjoy a lot of pop art works it’s more amazing than we expected, especially I was impressed by Andy Warhol & Roy Lichtenstein’s paintings and this exhibition contains the entire pop art collection by the John and Kimiko Powers in US. (You can find several Mrs. Kimiko Powers’s portraits by Warhol.  She is Japanese.)

キャンベル・スープも実際に販売されていたけど、ここで買わなくてもねぇ。
（重いし、近所のスーパーの方が安いし。）
我のキッチンでは、キャンベル・スープ缶はこうやって活躍中。

I suppose you do not have to buy a Campbell’s Soup at the museum shop. （It’s rather heavy to carry from there & cheaper at a supermarket near your house）
I am using a Campbell’s Soup Can at my kitchen.
