My most favorite bag 一番お気に入りのバッグ

スーザンによるハンドメイドのバッグと私です。
このバッグは一生のお気に入り。

神楽坂の赤城神社境内にて。

お天気で気持ち良かったし、

ハロウィンパレードのために黒ネコの仮装した人たちがたくさん。

スーザンは「なぜ黒ネコ？」と不思議そう。

そう言えば、日本ではそのイメージが。。。

仮装と言えば魔女？⇒仮装しやすくて可愛い黒ネコ？？

お気に入りのもの、居心地良いカフェで気持ち良い会話、こういうのが人生に必要なのだ。

It was a really lovely day of indian summer.

Many guys disguised themselves as black cats for a Halloween parade,

though she felt funny about the Japanese idea for Halloween.

I suppose we might image "witches" and then "black cats"...

Anyway it's easy to disguise and you look lovely, right?

My favorite thing & comfortable chat @ a cozy cafe and that's what I want in my life.

 

 

 

和モダン Japanese Modern Style

初めて社会人で働き始めた街は日本橋だった。

数年前から再開発中で、何やら活気があるカンジ。

他の街と区別がつかないんじゃなくて、江戸っぽい情緒を残しながら開発してほしいもの。

９月にコレド室町でやっていたイベントがこれ。

 

たくさんの金魚達と前衛的なインスタレーションのコラボのめくるめく世界。

すごい良かった！！

根底にあるのはアーティストや職人による和モダンスタイルの実現。 

これ、すごいカッコいいと思う。

 

I started my career as office worker in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

Nihonbashi has been under redevelopment and now came alive.

I hope they would develop the town where you can feel that

we are back in the old Edo period.

I went to an exhibition with my friend @ COREDO Muromachi in September.

 

We were amazed by the harmonization of so many gold fishes

and avant-garde installations.

It’s so cooool ! 

– those imaginative artist and skillful artisan

who gave us glamorous Japanese modern styles in front of us.

 

 

 

価値観 - Concept of Value

ランチ後にスタバでっていうのが、定番だった米系銀行時代。

別にスタバのが特別美味しいと感じていた訳ではなく

ランチタイムを同僚と過ごす行動の一環というか、流れというかスタイルだった。

1週間に4回は行ったとして×＠ラテ 340円 or キャラメルマキアート 390円＝1,500円位

それを1か月に換算すると6,000円位費やしていたのか。。。じゃあ、1年で？

そのお金があったら。。。

 もちろん、人の価値観がさまざまで、食後のスタバがたまらんヒトや

それがイマドキのスタイルと思っているヒトには、すごい価値あるわけで。

私は、美味しいコーヒーはこういう雰囲気のある喫茶店で、大切なひととゆっくり楽しみたい。

ああ、今、そのお金があったら、私は迷わず、一生もののお気に入りのために使うのに。

  

I used to go to Starbucks after lunch when I worked for an American bank.

It was ordinary style without thinking when I went out for lunch with colleges
though I was NOT a big fan of Starbucks.

Suppose you drunk Latte or Caramel Macchiato 4 times a week,
it would cost approx. 1,500yen

And then approx. 6,000yen per month. OK, then how much for a year?

I wish I had that money now.

 Of course, the concept of value is up to you

and you should be Starbucks lover or think it is so cool style.

But I’m rather fond of enjoying coffee at a café like this with my close friends.

Ah, if I had that money,
I would spend it for something more precious that will last forever in my life.

赤塚不二夫ワールド Fujio Akatsuka World

ボンパパつながりで。。。

昔から、ロン毛のボブカットの男性のことを「しぇー」と呼んでいる。

得意の「しぇー」のポーズは、取り敢えず海外旅行でも１回はやっておかないと。

台湾にて

青梅の赤塚不二夫記念館にて。

そこで判明した事実。

「うなぎ犬」の最期は、、、笑い死に。

世の中のこと - this world

 

善と悪。陰と陽。男と女。

両方ないと世界は成り立たないんだよ。

これは、数年前にバリ旅行中にトレッキングをした時の現地ガイドさんの言葉。

バリで2番目に高い山を登りながら、“バカボンのパパ”そっくりな賢人が

バリヒンデゥーの教えを英語で優しく話してくれました。

自分の中に悪い部分があってもいいんだ、と、とても気持ちが楽になりました。

他のひとにももっと寛容になれるでしょ？

以来、「ボンパパの教え」は私の生きる指標。

 

そして、そう、相反するもの同士、きっとバランスが必要なのだ。

バランスに必要なのは何だろう？それが宗教であり、哲学なのかもしれない。

 

Good and Evil. Yin and Yang. Men and Women. 

The world cannot exist without both sides of them.

 

A guide told me about the idea of the Balinese Hinduism

when I climbed up the 2^nd highest mountain in Bali several years ago.

(Well,,, he looked so much alike “Bakabon no Papa”;

Bakabon's papa but just like a Solomon when he gently spoke to us in English.)

 

 Since then, I can feel at ease more even when I see bad points inside of me.

His words became my philosophy to be gentle to the others and myself.

 

And the world totally needs the balance between them, right?

Then, maybe that’s why we have many religions or philosophies to balance them.
