春来たる - Spring is here

２週間前の代々木公園。梅もキレイに咲いていました。
もう春ですね。
Plum blossoms were blooming at Yoyogi park 2 weeks ago. 
They said the plum-tree is the first tree to blossom and tells us Spring has come.

この日もカラス達が、浮かれて水浴び中。
友人が言った通り、本当、カラスの行水。。。
As my friend pointed out, we saw crows were having a quick dip as the famous old Japanese proverb saying.
They looked happy to know Winter has gone.

たこやきパーティ – TAKOYAKI Party

初めてのたこやき会@我が家。

思ってた以上にかなり美味しくできちゃいました!!

見た目もまんまるで、周りはカリッと中はとろ～っと。
定番の具の他に、＋チーズ＆コーンもイケました！
これでいつでも関西人になれますな。

（肝心の出来上がりの写真は、しばらく続いていたiPhone&Windowsの

不仲現象中にその他の写真と共に行く方知れずに）

久々の野菜たっぷりバーニャカウダも良かったです♪
（引っ越し後、バーニャカウダポットはどこに!?

と焦ったけど、比較的早く見つかって良かった。。。）

他にアボカドディップ、チキンローストと

チョコレートケーキを用意しました。

とても楽しかったので、また企画したいな。

My first try to cook “Takoyaki; one of the soul food in Kansan area” inviting my friends.

(Sorry, the photos of our perfect Takoyaki have gone somewhere from my windows PC after uploading from my iPhone)
Sooo yummy!!  We could make Takoyaki so beautifully and enjoyed a lot along with bagna càuda.
I was lucky I could find the bagna càuda pot without many difficulties although I did not remember where I kept it in the kitchen cabinets.

I also cooked some avocado dip, roasted chicken & baked chocolate cap-cakes for my guests.

It's a really lovely day and I hope I can throw a Takoyaki party again.

古典の調べ - Classical sweet musics

1月のとある日曜日は
其の一、友人に誘われて能楽のイベント

(伝承ホール寺子屋公開講座)
其の二、仲の良い同僚とオペラガラコンサート

(旭☆せんじゅ座 主宰)
に行き、日本・西洋の古典の調べを満喫した一日でした。

I went to 2 events to enjoy both Japanese & Western traditional entertainments on a Sunday in January.
#1 - Noh (or Nogaku) workshop at a theater
#2 – Opera Gala Concert

＜其の一：能楽イベント＞

歴史の授業で習った室町時代の観阿弥、

世阿弥の流れを汲む二十六世観世宗家より、

とても興味深いお話を聞くことができました。
祝言小謡「老松」の御稽古をつけていただき、
観客全員で唱和できたのがとても良かったです。
能楽の謡の独特の歌い回しや所作は、
古来より神に捧げる音楽と踊りであることを

肌で感じられた時間でした。
松濤にある能楽堂は銀座(松屋跡地)に移転、

舞台をそのまま移築するそうです。

#1 - It was the first time for me & my friend to touch Noh world and so interesting to know something very special and traditional in our country. 

We learnt some parts of its history and traditions from the current head of the Kanze school of Noh drama - his family has a long lineage since the 14th century.
They say their performances with quite unique rhythms and dances are dedicated to the Gods.

We, all the audiences sang "Oimatsu" together to celebrate the new year after his lecture how to sing.

He said the Noh theater in Shoto, Shibuya will be moved to Ginza soon.

＜其の二：オペラコンサート＞
ランチ友の同僚がピアニストとして出演すると聞いて、

楽しみにしていました。
プログラムは有名なアリアの数々で構成されていて、

最後まで退屈することなく、
オペラのエッセンスを楽しむことができました。

何よりも同僚のピアノの素晴らしさに、うっとりなひと時でした。
会社員として働きながら、実はすごい才能を持っている、
というのは、とても素敵な生き方だと思います。

#2 - We had been looking forward to the Opera concert as one of my lunch mates was accompanying singers as a pianist.

And YES, she played the piano so fabulously.  It was amazing! So fascinated by her performance.

I think it’s fantastic if you are extremely talented and trying your best for something special to yourself while working at the office, like her.
